Brian L. McCullough is a native of Baton Rouge and grew up in Atlanta, Georgia before returning to attend Louisiana State University in 1998.
Graduating with a business degree, Brian then attended Loyola University New Orleans, College of Law. Having faced Hurricane Katrina as a law student, Brian understands the frustrations of facing personal loss, not knowing where to turn for answers, and having to work with insurance companies and government agencies fighting through a recovery. He brings that understanding and experience to the table when walking hand in hand with clients through the claims process to litigation. During his second and third year, Brian served as a law clerk with the Louisiana Department of Justice.
After graduating and being admitted to the bar in 2007, Brian spent time as an Assistant Attorney General before moving into commercial litigation where he was involved at all of the various levels of complex litigation and appellate advocacy involving some of the Capital City’s most-publicized cases over the last several years.
Brian currently lives in his hometown of Baton Rouge and enjoys cooking, Tiger athletics, coaching youth baseball, and spending time with his family, friends, and clients.

Denise Vinet is a lifelong resident of Louisiana with over 34 years of experience representing people throughout Louisiana and the United States.
Denise grew up in Thibodaux, Louisiana and received her undergraduate degree from Nicholls State University and thereafter graduated, cum laude, from Southern University School of Law. Denise’s experience working for her father’s law firm inspired her legal career fighting big insurance companies and corporate America. She has a wealth of experience in personal injury, worker’s compensation, longshoreman, admiralty, maritime personal injury, multi-party complex litigation, and mass tort. She has tried many jury and bench trials and has successfully argued cases before various courts of appeal, including the United States Supreme Court.

Lawrence Gettys is an accomplished trial lawyer who handles cases throughout the State of Louisiana. Lawrence’s practice focuses on asbestos exposure cases, as well as premises liability, product liability, and toxic tort matters. He has represented thousands of clients with mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases across the state of Louisiana for over 20 years. Lawrence has presented arguments on behalf of clients in hundreds of hearings. He also tried numerous cases resulting in significant victories for his clients.
Lawrence received his bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Mississippi. He was awarded his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the Southern University Law Center. Renee is originally from Houston, Texas, grew up in Lafayette, La and has been a resident of Baton Rouge for the last 18 years. She is married and has two beautiful daughters. Renee graduated from high school from St. Thomas More Catholic High School, Lafayette, La, in 1995. She received her bachelor’s degree in English from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Co, in 2000, and her Juris Doctorate and Diploma in Civil Law from LSU Law School in 2009. She is a member of the Federal Bar Association, Louisiana Bar Association, Baton Rouge Bar Association and Louisiana Association for Justice.

A native of Baton Rouge, Jim Moore received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University (LSU). He then moved to Washington, D.C., where he became the Director of Development for the American Legislative Exchange Council, America’s largest national membership organization of state legislators.
Five years later, Jim returned to Louisiana and LSU, where he received his Juris Doctor degree from the LSU Law Center.
Jim then married his wonderful wife, Connie, and moved to Lafayette, LA, where he practiced: automotive casualty; general personal injury; maritime personal injury and admiralty; workers’ compensation; premises and landowner liability; law enforcement and emergency response liability; and, insurance contract interpretation. He returned to Baton Rouge in 1996, continuing in his prior practice fields, as well as litigation of disability and medical malpractice cases.
Regardless of the field, he has always been a litigator. He has appeared before state courts of Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi, federal courts in Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, and Alabama, and he was the successful Counsel of Record in a matter brought before the United States Supreme Court involving sovereign immunity for American Indian Tribal Nations. He has been admitted to the Bars of all Louisiana state and federal district courts, the United States Supreme Court, the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Eastern and Southern federal district courts for Texas, and the Louisiana Coushatta Tribal Court.
Jim is a Certified Mediator, authored the latest primer on Louisiana Insurance Guaranty Association law published by the Louisiana Law Review, and is a frequent speaker and instructor of continuing legal education classes for Louisiana attorneys.
Jim is also the proud father of two awesome young adults, both at LSU and keeping the tradition alive. His proudest achievements (with some help from Connie) are his son, Jimmy, and daughter, Julia. They make everything matter, and they are proud their father is a part of the Murphy Law Firm, where he can devote all his efforts to helping injured persons in need of an experienced, compassionate trial attorney.

Peyton Murphy is a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and is married to Jenny Murphy. After completing his undergraduate study at Louisiana State University in 1988, Peyton P. Murphy was immediately admitted to law school. He received his Juris Doctorate from Tulane Law School in 1991.
Peyton P. Murphy was admitted to the Connecticut State Bar and the Louisiana State Bar in 1992 and 1993, respectively.
